Western.

Many beginner riders picture themselves galloping off into the countryside on horseback. The unfortunate reality is that sitting on and steering a horse takes time and practice. Working with horses can give you great confidence and self esteem, you may develop new friendships and achieve improved riding skills. The western riding lesson program will introduce students to manners & safety around horses, basic & advanced western techniques as well as western gaming. Showing opportunities are available!!

Some students have shown locally as well as London, Clinton, & Michigan and represented Lazee G Ranch very well. And we have the ribbons to prove it! We have also been involved in the Wind Rider Challenge, this is a combination competition, riders perform English and Western riding techniques and compete against riders from all over North America. Instructor Jamie Gagnon holds 2 titles, 3rd place from London and 1st place from Clinton Ontario, we are very proud of her and her team of riders.

A basic session is 6 weeks long, the student rides 1x a week. We do offer other opportunities depending on how many times a week you ride, the age and experience of the student.

If you do not own riding boots or a helmet they will be provided to use and is included in the price of the lessons. Equipment can be used until you feel this will be the sport of choice, and then at that time you may want to purchase for Birthday's of Christmas gifts.
